News article by Michelle Curran,

Rick Ross has reportedly been put on life support after being hospitalized. The 42-year-old rapper fell ill at his home in Davie, Florida, with someone calling 911 at 3.30am on Thursday to say the person in distress was 'unresponsive with heavy breathing'.

The caller said the man in distress had a history of seizures and that they tried to wake him but he was 'slobbing out the mouth'.

According to TMZ Rick is being treated in the hospital's cardiac unit, and it is suspected the star suffered a heart attack which manifested itself in respiratory issues.

Ross' former girlfriend and mother of his son William Roberts III, told People, 'Pray for him.' TMZ also reports the Aston Martin Music rapper has been 'hooked up to a machine that's taking over the function of his heart and lungs' whilst he continues to undergo treatment at the hospital.

Sources tell TMZ Rick has been placed on ECMO, or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, which is a technique used to oxygenate his blood outside of his body, before it's pumped back into his body.

A dispatch report of the incident from Davie Police Department said Ross became 'combative' when officers attended the scene and it added that he 'Boo-Blood on himself'

Another source told TMZ that the hip hop star was reportedly asked to make an appearance Thursday night, but a rep told him the mogul was in the hospital.  <!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics -->

Disgraced footballer Adam Johnson is reportedly planning to resurrect his career abroad after accepting he will never be able to play professionally in the UK again. Former Sunderland star Johnson, 30, is entering his final year behind bars having seen his bid to overturn his conviction fail.

Upon release, he will be unable to pursue a lucrative career in the United States' Major League soccer due to the country's strict rules on allowing sex offenders into the country. And most European clubs would also be off limits, leaving Johnson with the option to look into a move to the Middle East, China or even Turkey, according to the Sun.
Johnson, who earned £60,000-a-week before his conviction, no longer has an agent and his father, David, is managing his career.
A source said: 'He definitely wants to play again – but it is just a question of where and if anyone will pick him up.
'He's clearly a talented player and would get into many a team – even with a lengthy spell behind bars.
'China or the Gulf States in the Middle East are probably his best option where he could go and be forgotten, but the Turkish league is also a contender.'
Johnson is currently locked up at HMP Moorland, near Doncaster in South Yorkshire.
He was jailed for six years in March 2016 for sexually abusing a teenage fan he groomed online. <!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics -->

THE brother of the football star and TV presenter Gary Lineker was jailed for two and a half years yesterday, after he admitted a £220,000 tax fraud.

Wayne Lineker, a millionaire sports bar owner, smuggled cash into Britain under the tax radar, using a "tried and tested" money mule system of unsuspecting family and friends.
At first bundles of pesetas and escudos from pubs in Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands were laundered into sterling at bureaux de change. Then City stockbroker John Stacey, 56, was brought in to secure a better exchange rate by siphoning it through several bank accounts. But the scam came unstuck when auditors realised accounting rules had been breached during the transfer of Lineker's secret profits.
The two and David Hodges, 43, Lineker's manager, were jailed for five years, eight months in total at London's Southwark Crown Court yesterday.

Judge Stephen Robbins warned Lineker, 43, who owns a 2 million mansion in Fyfield, Essex, that unless he paid back the outstanding 90,000, he faced 24 further months in jail.
Lineker, whose brother now presents the BBC's Match of the Day, admitted conspiracy to defraud the Inland Revenue between 1999 and 2001.
The court heard the sentence could have "disastrous consequences" for the pub empire built up by Lineker since 1988. It was in that year the former Leicester market trader decided to move to Tenerife and cash in on his brother's name. There he opened the World Famous Lineker's Bar. Other bars - simply called Lineker's - followed in Spain, Portugal and Cyprus. They are filled with footballing memorabilia and attract players, celebrities and fans. <!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics -->

Yiganerjing cream has been branded 'dangerous' by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.
Analysis by the Government-run department found the natural remedy contains a 'potent' steroid called clobetasol propionate.
UK law states it is illegal to sell products containing this ingredient to the public, and it can only be dished out on prescription.
The MHRA also declared the samples of Yiganerjing cream they tested contains two antifungal ingredients - which can lead to heart failure. Dr Chris Jones, manager of the Medicines Borderline Section at MHRA, said: 'The sale of potent steroid creams directly to the public is illegal for good reason.
'If used without medical supervision these medicines can be dangerous.
'Our advice to anyone who is using Yiganerjing Cream, particularly on young children and babies, is to discontinue use immediately.'
He added: 'Steroids must be prescribed by healthcare professionals who follow strict criteria when prescribing them and monitoring patients using them.
'They can suppress the skin’s response to infection, can cause long-term thinning of the skin, and if applied long term over a wide area, particularly in babies and children, can cause other medical problems. <!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Analytics -->
