A highlight of the visit was a performance of the traditional Al-Ayyala dance, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. The dance featured synchronized drumming, poetic chants, and women in white gowns rhythmically flipping their hair—a symbol of joy and national pride. President Trump expressed admiration for the spectacle, stating, “I love it!” . 

Strengthening Bilateral Ties

During his stay, President Trump and UAE leaders announced over $200 billion in trade agreements, focusing on sectors like artificial intelligence and aviation. Etihad Airways committed to a significant purchase of Boeing aircraft, and discussions were held on establishing a U.S.-UAE artificial intelligence campus . 

Diplomatic Engagements and Honors

President Trump attended a state dinner at Qasr Al Watan, where he was awarded the Order of Zayed, the UAE’s highest civilian honor, recognizing his commitment to U.S.-UAE relations . He also participated in a U.S.-UAE Business Council breakfast roundtable, discussing economic collaboration . 

Concluding the Middle East Tour

President Trump’s visit to the UAE concluded his four-day Middle East tour, which included stops in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Throughout the trip, he was met with lavish receptions, including a 21-gun salute in Riyadh and a motorcade escorted by red Tesla Cybertrucks in Doha . While the tour emphasized economic partnerships and cultural diplomacy, it also occurred amid escalating tensions in the region, notably the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. 

President Trump’s visit to Qasr Al Watan highlighted the deepening relationship between the United States and the UAE, marked by cultural appreciation, economic collaboration, and diplomatic engagement.
