Inmate Accused of Assault During Prison Visit After Relationship With Female Guard Exposed
A prison inmate who was previously involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a female prison officer has been accused of carrying out a violent attack during a family visit while holding a baby, according to reports.
The incident is said to have taken place inside a UK correctional facility during a scheduled visit period, when inmates are permitted to meet relatives under supervision. Authorities say the inmate, who had been allowed to hold a young child believed to belong to a family member, allegedly became aggressive and attacked another visitor during the encounter.
Witnesses described scenes of panic in the visiting hall as staff rushed to intervene. Officers quickly removed the child from the inmate’s arms and restrained him before escorting him back to a secure area of the prison.
No serious injuries to the baby were reported, and officials confirmed the child was immediately taken to safety and assessed by medical staff as a precaution.

The inmate may face additional charges related to assault and disorderly conduct within a custodial setting.
