14-Year-Old Boy Shot Dead in Woolwich as Three Teenagers Arrested
A 14-year-old boy has been tragically shot dead in Woolwich, south-east London, in an incident that has shocked the local community and reignited concerns over youth violence in the capital.
Police were called to reports of a shooting on Lord Warwick Street at around 3:40pm on Thursday. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, the teenager was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan described the incident as “appalling” and said there is “no place for this heartbreaking violence” in the city.
