According to the Santa Ana Police Department, two pallets containing trading cards were stolen, while a third pallet was disturbed. The shipments included a mixture of Pokémon cards, sports cards and other collectibles belonging to customers who had sent their items to PSA for authentication and grading.

The theft was particularly damaging because the cards were being handled as part of a professional service and were due to return to their owners.
